Weekly Menu {5/4–5/8}

Next week Dylan and I are starting P90x. If you haven’t heard of P90x, you can learn more here, but basically, it is a workout regime. I also learned when our box arrived that it includes a meal plan for the 90 days of the program. Initially I was not thinking we would do that, but after looking it over, Dylan and I decided to try it out. It’s just 90 days, right? {Insert crying face here.}

So, to prep for getting started, I’m going grocery shopping this weekend so we have all of the ingredients.

In case you are interested in what the dinners are for the week, here’s what we will be having.

MondaySalmon with a Lemon-Dill Sauce and Asparagus

Tuesday—Turkey with Green Beans and a Butternut Squash Soup

WednesdayHalibut in a Pesto Sauce with Wild Rice and Zucchini

Thursday—Chicken in a Honey-Chile Sauce with Quinoa and Snap Peas

FridaySwordfish in a Mango-Ginger Sauce with Wild Rice and Artichoke

    Wow! Good luck guys! Jeremy and I did that a few summers ago so if you have questions, let us know. It’s intense but the results are worth it. The hardest part of the meal plan was eating all the vegetables that you have to, for us anyways. Never felt hungry though. Hope to see you guys and Finn soon!

      Jen, hey! Hope to see you guys soon as well. Good to know we can consult you guys with questions. Day 1 went well. 🙂 It is definitely intense, but it is sort of nice to not have to think about what to eat or what exercises to do. It’s fairly brainless in that sense, which I need. I tend to get stuck on ‘what should I do’, and then I never really do anything.
